Was I the only person to wake up and find out about this collection today as in wake up and be a few hours late..ridiculousness! As most know, Rihanna is the first person, (not just celebrity) to partner with MAC cosmetics and unlike every limited edition line hers not only sells out immediately but this is her third collection for the popular icon. The perks of being a partner huh!

▪2 eye shadow palettes: Two Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow palettes “Phresh Out” and “2x Dare” both include a very small range of cold nudes($44)

▪2 liquid liners: Which is her first collection to include eyeliner, “Pisces Persuasion” is a white and “Cockiness” which a pretty rose gold($20.50)

▪3 lipsticks: Rihanna’s signature “RiRi Woo,” which has been included in all the “RiRi Hearts MAC” collections, as well as two new colors: “Pleasure Bomb,” a gorge matte fuchsia, and “Bad Girl RiRi,” which is a darker matte nude ($16.50)

▪1 bronzer: “Love, Rihanna” ($30)

▪1 nail lacquer: Rihanna’s first-ever nail polish, “RiRi Woo,” matches her iconic lipstick ($17.50)

▪1 double-ended brush with the new rose gold on white packaging ($35)

▪1 makeup bag: The “RiRi MAC Make-Up Bag” is a quilted metallic pinky rose ($40)

Ms. RiRi has been named the newsiest spokesperson which means this is not the last of her partnership with MAC as we will see at least one shade of lipstick and lip gloss, excuse me lip glass, maybe another chance to get your hands on “RiRi Woo”!

The Burning Mask

I found this face mask on My Yellow Sandbox’s blog a few months back and the reviews on it are amazing! This particular DIY facial mask gives you great results in only a few weeks(or days) depending how many acne scars you have, trying this out myself seemed like a huge barrier to tackle but wash’t as bad as I thought it would be. Please let me know if you have tried this mask and the results you had!

Ingredients/Needed Supplies:

  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice(can vary, feel the burn)

Directions:

Mix all ingredients into a thick paste. Apply all over face for around a hour, if it burns too much…THEN SUCK IT UP! Kidding of course, you can wear this mask for as long as you want just remember the more lemon juice you squeeze into the mix the more it will burn.

*For more sensitive skin leave out the lemon juice, it will hurt and peel more skin than necessary.

Let’s Get Naked!!

If you are a huge beauty fanatic as I am then you may have heard a few rumors and have been wandering Sephora’s website looking for evidence but it’s true, a third Naked palette has been created!

The Naked palettes have been top sellers from the ever so popular Urban Decay and have even inspired an entire Naked line for the brand which include a basic palette, a blush, highlighter  bronzer set, lipstick/liner, etc. But compared to the brand’s previous Naked palettes, the third has more of a rosy to taupe pretty neutral feel to it and even though there is a black shade it seems not to overpower the other soft colors. So yes, you would still be able to create the infamous smokey eye look if necessary, the excitement is overwhelming..I know. You can now purchase the palette on these sites Urban DecaySephora and Ultait’s a Christmas miracle!!!!!!!!

A Craft-sy Kind Of Subscription

The other day I was looking through a Pinterest board and came across two monthly DIY boxes that were interesting enough to look into and think are blog worthy!

1. WhimesyBox

The WhimseyBox is a monthly subscription box that sends supplies, instructions and tips to complete a craft project from your own home as well as a reusable storage box and art print in each box.

Price per month-$15 , you can receive $5 off your first month here

2. Project DIY

Project DIY provides supplies and instructions just like Whimsey but they supply enough materials for 2-3 projects which could explain the difference in price. The one thing I can say I don’t really like with this box is that sometimes you can receive already made supplies so you miss out on the fun of actually piecing together the puzzle of the project.

Price per month $30, receive a free starter kit($20) with the code MJDIY5

Regardless of my reviews please check out both subscription boxes and let me know how you like them. If you are already subscribed let me know how many projects have you completed and what are your thoughts on your box!?
